What do you do with the returned mattresses?

We will never repackage a mattress that has been used and sell it as new, we will either recycle it or donate it to our chosen charity.

What is the returns process?

If you are not satisfied with your Sloom mattress and which to return it under the 100 Night Trial.  Please email info@sloom.co.za with your order number.  Someone from our customer support team will arrange a suitable collection date with you.

Will the Foam make any body indentations after a while?

We use premium foams that are very durable and has a long lifespan.  Under normal circumstances will not show any indentations for at least 15 Years.  Heavier individuals might see body indentations on the mattress a lot sooner, but if these body indentations are deeper than 25mm, a warranty claim can be made.

Will I be able to assemble the base by myself?

The Sloom base is very easy to assemble and you would be able to assemble it by yourself. But we recommend two people.

Will I be able to carry the box by myself and will it fit in my car?

 The King Size Extra length has the biggest box with dimensions 190cm x 30cm x 30cm and a weight of 40Kg. If your car has space for these dimensions, then it will fit in your car.

How long can the mattress stay in a box?

The mattress can stay in its compressed state without compromising the foams for a month, but we recommend that you take the mattress out of the box immediately.

How long after I have taken the mattress out of its packaging can I sleep on it?

Your mattress is ready to sleep on immediately after it has been decompressed but will take up to 24 hours after decompression to recover fully.

Do I need a mattress protector?

We recommend that you use a mattress protector to protect your mattress against spills and other fluids. A mattress protector increases the lifespan of the mattress.
