1. Campaign Period

1.1 The campaign is valid from Thursday, 1 January 2026, until Saturday, 31 January 2026.

1.2 Any orders placed or payments processed outside of this timeframe will not be eligible for entry.

2. Eligibility

2.1 This campaign is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

2.2 This campaign applies to the purchase of any order made via the official Sloom website.

2.3 Directors, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of Sloom, as well as their partners, business partners, or immediate family members, are excluded from participation.

3. How to Enter

3.1 Entry into the Campaign is automatic upon the successful completion of a purchase on the Sloom website during the Campaign Period.

3.2 "Successful completion" is defined as an order where payment has been successfully processed and received in full by the Promoter.

3.3 There is no minimum spend required to be eligible for entry.

3.4 Multiple entries are permitted; each distinct, paid order constitutes a separate entry.

4. The Prize

4.1 The prize consists of a full refund of the winning order's purchase value, including VAT and delivery fees (if applicable).

4.2 The refund will be processed back to the original method of payment used during the transaction (e.g., credit card, EFT, or payment gateway).

4.3 The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash (in the sense that it is a reimbursement, not a cash payout exceeding the value of the goods).

4.4 The maximum refund value is capped at R20 000.

4.5 Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) Orders:

4.5.1 Orders placed via BNPL Float or PayJustNow are eligible for entry, provided the order is confirmed by the provider and the refund will be processed directly to the BNPL provider.

4.5.2 This refund will settle the Winner's outstanding balance with the provider. Any installments already paid by the Winner to the provider will be refunded to the Winner by the provider, subject to the provider's specific terms and processing times. Sloom is not responsible for any interest or administrative fees levied by the provider outside of the principal purchase amount.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

5.1 The winner will be selected by means of a random draw to be conducted on 2 February 2026.

5.2 The draw will be done by an automated randomisation tool to ensure fairness.

5.3 The winner will be notified via the email address or telephone number provided at checkout within 3 working days of the draw.

5.4 If the winner cannot be contacted after three (3) attempts over a period of 72 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternate winner.

6. Returns and Cancellations

6.1 If the winning Participant cancels their order or requests a return prior to the prize being awarded, their entry will be void.

6.2 If the Participant wins the refund but subsequently decides to return the product(s) under Sloom's standard Return Policy:

  • The "Prize" (the refund already processed) will serve as the settlement for the return.
  • No further funds will be paid out, and the transaction will be considered closed.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Sloom shall not be liable for any technical failures affecting participation in the Campaign, including but not limited to internet connectivity issues, payment gateway failures, or website downtime.

7.2 To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act (or relevant local legislation), the Participant indemnifies Sloom against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages or loss of any kind arising from participation in this Campaign.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 By entering this Campaign, Participants consent to the processing of their personal information for the purpose of valid administration of this Campaign.

8.2 The winner’s name may be published on Sloom’s social media platforms and website, subject to the winner’s consent.

8.3 All personal data will be handled in accordance with Sloom’s Privacy Policy and the POPI.

9. General

9.1 Sloom reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel, or withdraw any aspect of this Campaign or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, should it be required by law or due to reasons beyond its control.

9.2 In the event of a dispute, the decision of Sloom is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
