We will never repackage a mattress that has been used and sell it as new, we will either recycle it or donate it to our chosen charity.

What is the returns process?

If you are not satisfied with your Sloom mattress and which to return it under the 100 Night Trial.  Please email [email protected] with your order number.  Someone from our customer support team will arrange a suitable collection date with you.


What is the return policy?

Besides the 100 Night sleep trial, you may return goods for a full refund within 7 days if unused and still in its original packaging. 

If the products have been opened and used and you wish to return it under the 7-day return policy, a handling fee of 10% of the purchase price will be charged. Under the 100 Night trial, the return is free, and we cover the cost of transport but conditions apply. See 100 Night Trial page

How does the warranty work?

The first 24 months is covered by a full factory guarantee against faulty workmanship and faulty materials. If, after inspection, the product is found to be defective, Sloom will either repair or replace the product. This does not include normal wear and tear or customer abuse.

After 24 months, there will be a service charge for repair or replacement of your defective product. The service charge is calculated by dividing the current retail price by the number of years of the warranty which is 25 and then multiplying it by the number of years since the purchase date on your original invoice.

For example: Current retail price R8 000 / Service warranty 25 Years = R320

Number of years since purchase date = 4 years 

Charge for repair or replacement (R 400 x 4 years) = R1 280

How long till I get a refund?

As soon as we receive the returned product, we will refund you within 3 working days.

Are there any terms & conditions for the 100-night trial?

The sleep trial only extends to the original purchaser and proof of purchase must be provided.

The sleep trial will be nullified if:

-the product is found in an unsanitary/stained/burnt/torn or dirty condition.

- the product has been abused or damaged in any way.

-an inappropriate foundation has been used.

- the persons sleeping on the mattress weighs more than the weight limit of that mattress.

The Sleep trial is there to help customers try out the Sloom mattress before committing financially. The sleep trial is not an insurance for damaged goods.


How does the 100 Nights trial work?

The 100-night trial lets you try out the Sloom mattress in the comfort of your own home. As it takes time for your body to adjust to a new mattress, we ask you to spend a minimum of 60 days trying out your Sloom Mattress. Ideally, we would suggest spending 30 days trying a specific firmness where after you can change the firmness. If between day 60 and 100 you still not satisfied, we'll arrange a FREE pick up and refund you in FULL. In most cases, we will either donate it to a local charity or have it recycled.
